Only what you type into the quote form: your name, phone number, email address, your town, the kind of door work you need, and anything you write in the message box. We also record which page you sent it from.
We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies or analytics that follow you around other websites.
To reply to you about your enquiry and to quote the work. That is the only reason.
When you send the form you are agreeing that we can contact you about your enquiry by phone, text or email. You do not have to agree to this to buy from us, and you can tell us to stop at any time by replying, or by emailing mark@searsdoor.ca. We act on that straight away.
Your enquiry is emailed to us, texted to us, and stored in a private spreadsheet only we can open. It is handled on our behalf by Google, for the email and the spreadsheet, and by Twilio, for the text message. Nobody else sees it.
We never sell your information, rent it, or share it for marketing.
We keep enquiries so we have a record of quotes and work done. Ask us to delete yours and we will, unless we are required to keep it for tax or warranty reasons.
This website is served only over an encrypted connection. Your enquiry travels encrypted and is stored in an account protected by a password and two-step verification.
Under Canadian privacy law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email mark@searsdoor.ca and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not happy with how we handled it you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
We link to manufacturers such as Wayne Dalton, Haas Door and LiftMaster. Once you are on their site their privacy policy applies, not ours.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top.
